Similar to the Dependency-based Word Similarity tool, this tool illustrates the similarity to words based on their proximity to each other within a body of work. In other words, this tool can determine if a work is similar to another if it appears within a certain proximity of like terms in various documents. For example, "earth" is similar to "soil" because they are sometimes used in the same context and around the same other words. Therefore they are proximally similar. To use, simply enter a word into the search box and hit submit and you are presented with a list of terms which related to the inputed word in this fashion.
